Selwyn Rhoda, currently serves as the Chief Instructor of the Karate Zen organisation. He was born on 1 June 1961 and is ranked at the Rokudan (6th Dan) Black Belt level.
He started his training as a 13 year old in February of 1974 starting at the original dojo of which he now serves as the Chief Instructor. In 1997, he qualified as WKF Continental Referee and Kata Judge in Senegal and in October 1998 he qualified as WKF judge in Brazil. He currently serves as the Chief Referee of Karate South Africa.
