Welcome to all members and visitors to the Karate Association Western Province (KAWP) website. Through this site we aim to provide informative and comprehensive information regarding South African Karate, both Provincially, Nationally and Internationally. By being a member of the KAWP you are linked to over 160 countries worldwide as the KSA is a member of the World Karate Federation (W.K.F.). The W.K.F. has full Olympic recognition and conducts the official Senior and Junior/Cadet World Championships on alternate years. Another benefit is ready access to coaching, refereeing and officiating courses and subsequent qualifications. |
